Our Team of Dragonriders
Meet the fascinating team that works behind the forge to produce burning hot content that keeps readers entertained and enthused. The team here at Pendragon society values creativity, adventure and expression and we’re constantly coming up with new ways to create opportunities for our fellow artists to partake in raids and publications. We’re all little scales in the art community but together we can make a mighty and fierce dragon that roars loud enough to be heard and admired.

Erika R Penton
Fantastical Founder
Erina Penn is the founder of The Pendragon Society, a creative agency and blog dedicated to exploring books, shows, and the art of storytelling. She is the very first dragonrider in this imaginative world and takes on every storm with the love and honour of a knight, climbing up a tower to save the princess (the princess being her chaotic team in this scenario). She curates fantasy anthologies, runs imaginative competitions, and partners with fellow dreamers to bring bold ideas to life — all while championing a world where dragons, knights, and pink unicorns thrive just as much as great design and strategy. She is the foundation that allows her team to take off into flight. She nutures, cares for and protects the entire Pendragon Society – including both creators and viewers.
“I need another sword. I know I already have three, but is there really something as too much swords?”
Fiona Benjamin
Dreamsmith
Competitions & Anthologies
Fiona, or the office mom, weaves together dreams, themes, and reader journeys. She works on developing the creative and conceptual frameworks for our writing competitions and anthology projects. From crafting compelling prompts to shaping the tone and structure of collections, Fiona ensures each initiative is meaningful, magical, and deeply engaging for both writers and readers. By motivating collaboration and creativity she is able to weave the dreams and passions of so many artists and authors into a single, beautiful book.

“If it can’t be turned into a meme, is it even worth posting?”
Fatima Lalla
Keyboard Witch
Lead Writer and Editor
Fatima is the creative force behind nearly every word you read from the Society. Our SEO sorceress and lead content and copywriter, she crafts everything from web pages and blog posts to spellbinding social captions. (She even writes these bios—yes, hi again.) She guides the team of junior writers with a steady hand and a sharp pen, making sure the Society’s voice is always clear, clever, and captivating. When she’s not writing or editing, she’s collecting beautiful mechanical keyboards—each one louder and more chaotic than the last. Beware the click-clack menace.
